Philosophy
There are rhythms that cannot be heard — only felt. Tensions that resist naming — only perception. PULSO, Umbra Studio’s new collection, emerges from that borderland where the body knows before the mind, where emotion precedes language.
Six works. Six states of being. A visual vocabulary built on expressionist gesture, chromatic matter in eruption, and golden incision as mark of what cannot be erased. Not representation: revelation. Not illustration: excavation of what, otherwise, remains buried beneath the surface of things.
Gold appears across every work in the collection — as enveloping spiral, as constellation of traces, as radiant crown — and serves as the thread of a single truth: there is something in every human being that no darkness can fully extinguish.
PULSO is a strictly limited edition collection: 9 numbered and signed copies per work, printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 g/m² paper using archival giclée technique. Each copy carries a numbered certificate of authenticity.
Museum Quality. Built to Last Centuries
Every work in PULSO is produced to the same technical standards as the limited editions of leading contemporary art galleries. The process ensures that the tonal depth of Chinese ink, the delicacy of watercolour washes, and the presence of metallic pigments are transferred to paper with complete fidelity.
Limited numbered edition
Each print is part of a strictly limited run. The work includes a numbered and signed certificate of authenticity. Once an edition is sold out, it is permanently closed — no exceptions.
Giclée fine art print
Precision printing technology using 12 high-density pigment inks. The extended colour gamut accurately captures the depth of Chinese ink blacks, the atmospheric greys of watercolour washes, and the metallic glints that run through select pieces in the collection.
Museum quality paper
308 g/m² acid-free paper with a matte finish and warm white tone. The same substrate used in museum archives and institutional collections worldwide. Resistance to yellowing exceeding 100 years under standard conservation conditions. The paper's texture adds a tactile dimension that no digital reproduction can replicate.
High tonal fidelity
Produced in specialist workshops across the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany. International shipping in protective artwork packaging. Delivery time: 5-10 business days depending on destination.
