Description
Two energies coexist on the same axis and the breaking point does not destroy — transform.
The left half breathes organic serenity. Open lotuses, soft watercolors in diluted pink and green ranges, modeled leather with delicate transition. The closed eye suggests introspection, pause, recollection. The line is clean, the line contained.
The right half bursts in with structural violence. Dark branches, splashes, linear tensions that expand like neuronal discharges. Deep blue, violet and bright oranges generate electrical contrast. The open eye fixes the gaze: awareness, alertness, activation.
In the center, the divided circular symbol articulates the visual discourse. It does not act as decoration, but as a core of unstable balance. The red paint that descends vertically crosses the face like a symbolic meridian: it marks the exact moment where the system stops being stable and mutates.
The use of watercolor here is not atmospheric, it is emotional. Stains do not take up space due to volume, but rather due to intensity. The black line —freer, more organic— breaks the containment on the right side and generates expansion.
The work raises a question without asking it:
At what point does tension stop being conflict and become evolution?
