Philosophy
There is a solitude that goes unannounced. One that does not arrive with silence or with isolation. It arrives in the middle of the noise — between notifications and bodies that brush past each other without meeting, between conversations where no one is truly present.
DERIVA is a collection about that solitude. The contemporary kind. The one without a name because no one has been willing to name it yet.
The nine works in the series portray female figures at the precise moment something is lost — without drama, without complaint — while the organic world surrounds them, grows through them, rises around their silence with perfect indifference. Their silhouettes do not confront. They do not explain. They dissolve.
Each work is a threshold. The suspended moment between being present and being already, irrevocably, elsewhere.
The Works in the Collection
The works in DERIVA emerge from the confluence of expressive charcoal, Chinese ink wash, and restrained cold color. The visual language is deliberately austere: absolute blacks, cool ivory grounds, and a single chromatic note — muted lavender, indigo blue, floral white — reserved exclusively for the organic elements that envelop each figure.
The series does not illustrate solitude. It inhabits it.
Each of the nine works exists in an edition of 9 numbered and certified copies, printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 g/m² — 100% cotton, acid-free, museum-quality paper — accompanied by the FineArt Certificate of authenticity.
Editing and Printing
Each work in DERIVA is offered in a single edition of 9 copies, hand-numbered from 1/9 to 9/9. There are no reprints or additional editions. Once an edition sells out, the work closes permanently.
The medium is Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 g/m², 100% cotton museum-quality paper, printed using archival pigment giclée technique with an estimated durability of over 100 years under proper conservation conditions. Each work includes the Hahnemühle FineArt Certificate, signed and numbered.
Museum Quality. Built to Last Centuries
Every work in the Bonsai collection is produced to the same technical standards as the limited editions of leading contemporary art galleries. The support, inks and printing process are selected to ensure the work is, above all, built to endure.
Limited numbered edition
Each print is part of a strictly limited run. The work includes a numbered and signed certificate of authenticity. Once an edition is sold out, it is permanently closed — no exceptions.
Giclée fine art print
Precision printing technology using 12 high-density pigment inks. The extended colour gamut captures the full depth of Chinese ink blacks, the atmospheric greys of watercolour washes, and the metallic accents that run through select pieces.
Museum quality paper
308 g/m² acid-free paper with a matte finish and warm white tone. The same substrate used in museum archives and institutional collections. Resistance to yellowing exceeding 100 years under standard conservation conditions. The paper's texture interacts with the image and adds a tactile dimension that no screen can replicate.
High tonal fidelity
Produced in specialist workshops across the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany. International shipping in protective artwork packaging. Delivery time: 5-10 business days depending on destination.
