Description
The face becomes a palimpsest. It is not a clean surface, but a space crossed by fragments of text, incomplete geometries and botanical strokes that seem to float between layers of meaning. Identity is no longer expressed directly: it is deciphered.
Closed eyes —recurring in this phase of the collection— insist on the idea of inner perception. But there is a key difference here: the mind is not silent or whispering, it is processing. Geometric lines suggest mental structures, frames of thought, attempts to order what has been experienced. They do not close; They remain open, as a hypothesis.
The fragmented text embedded in the face introduces a powerful notion: experience as incomplete language. Words that existed, ideas that were said or thought, but that now survive only in remains. Reading them is not entirely possible. And it’s not necessary. The meaning is in what is missing, not in what remains.
The vegetation, minimal and elegant, filters between these layers like an organic force that does not understand syntax or geometry. It grows between the lines, literally. It is intuition, emotion, life itself escaping the attempt at total definition.
The golden accents, scattered and almost accidental, act as poetic interruptions. Moments of lucidity, sparks of consciousness that appear without warning and disappear just as quickly.
