Description
The face, with its eyes closed, seems suspended in an instant before the word, when the thought has not yet decided to make a sound. Everything happens on the threshold.
Ink acts as primary language. Almost nervous lines, barely sustained, run across the surface like thoughts that are not fully formulated. Compared to the internal architectures of previous pieces, here identity manifests itself as a system of emotional microgestures.
The botanical elements —fragile, schematic— do not sprout strongly, but rather accompany. They are mild presences, such as persistent ideas or memories that return without warning. Graphic fragments and veiled seals introduce the notion of archived memory: experiences that have been recorded by the body even though they are no longer consciously remembered.
The gold appears scattered, almost accidentally, like suspended dust. Does not sacralize; breathe. It provides a subtle vibration that connects this work with Echoes of Silence, but from a more intimate and tactile place. Watercolor, with its transparencies and controlled drips, reinforces the feeling of something that is dissolving while it exists.
